Ablatus shortlisted for coveted #21toWatch Awards

The 2021 shortlist for the coveted #21toWatch Awards was revealed earlier this week and Ablatus are delighted to have made it onto the shortlist for the prestigious ‘Things’ Award. The list includes some of the most inspirational entrepreneurs, start-ups and innovations from the East of England and being named on the shortlist is a real honour and will significantly raise our profile.

#21toWatch is organised by Burwell-based cofinitive supported by the Cambridge Independent and the annual awards attract hundreds of entries which are whittled down to a shortlist of 48 – a dynamic mix of people, companies and ‘Things’

We will be judged by 4 leading experts:

  • Simon Thorpe – angel investor, managing partner of Delta 2020 and chair of Cambridge Angels
  • Yupar Myint – head of programme for Cambridge University’s Impulse Programme at The Maxwell Centre
  • Thea Goodluck – entrepreneur engagement manager for East of England at Tech Nation
  • Jason Mellad – CEO and co-founder of Cambridge healthcare accelerator Start Codon

They will assess all the candidates based on five criteria – innovation, challenge, influence, viability and memorability.

Now in its third year, the awards will be held as a bespoke virtual event on Thursday March 4th, 2021 from 11am. Entrepreneurs and those supporting the finalists can register for the event at http://cofinitive21towatch.eventbrite.co.uk

David Lewis, CEO said “Being named in the 21 to watch shortlist is great news for Ablatus; this recognition confirms how far the company has come in the last 12 months or so, and importantly, what a gamechanger our technology could be for the treatment of patients with liver tumours”

Please wish us luck and we will keep you posted on the results.
